Information on Datacenter Proxies
Answers to frequently asked questions and technical details
Datacenter proxies have a number of advantages over residential and mobile proxies, making them the preferred choice in many scenarios, especially when stability, speed, and price-performance ratio are important: Price – datacenter proxies are usually cheaper than residential and mobile proxies, especially when buying in bulk, often without traffic limits, making them a budget-friendly solution. Speed and stability – they provide high speed and throughput, critical for working with large volumes of data, and are more stable compared to mobile proxies. Convenience – datacenter proxies are easier to configure and scale for a large number of requests, offering standard solutions for integration. IP legitimacy – unlike some residential or mobile proxies, datacenter proxies use IPs that comply with norms, reducing the risk of blocking. Scalability – they easily adapt to growing needs, increasing the number of IPs and throughput. These advantages make datacenter proxies ideal for those who need a reliable, fast, and cost-effective solution for anonymous access, data security, and large-scale tasks online.
Datacenter proxies significantly increase the efficiency of data scraping and price comparison by providing key advantages: Anonymity – they hide the real IP, preventing blocking and allowing data collection without the risk of detection. Parallel access – multiple proxies speed up information gathering through simultaneous requests. Bypassing geo-blocks – IPs from different regions provide access to restricted content, such as products on marketplaces unavailable in some countries. Performance – the high speed and stability of datacenter proxies ensure fast processing of large data volumes. Risk minimization – legitimate IPs reduce the likelihood of legal issues during scraping. Control and flexibility – they allow adjusting request frequency, adapting data collection strategies, and avoiding frequent proxy replacement in projects. Using datacenter proxies for market analysis helps businesses obtain accurate data on competitors and trends, contributing to informed decisions and strategic planning.
HTTP proxies are the most popular type, designed for browsers and programs using the TCP protocol. Your browser sends a request to the proxy, which receives data from the server and passes it to you. The problem is that data is transmitted openly and can be intercepted and logged by both the proxy itself and the internet provider. The solution is HTTPS proxies, where data is encrypted. The algorithm is resistant to hacking, and although the provider sees the fact of proxy usage, decrypting the data is impossible. For complete anonymity, SOCKS proxies are needed – a modern protocol that does not modify HTTP headers and transmits data directly, hiding the very fact of using a proxy. The site only sees the proxy server's IP. SOCKS4 supports TCP, and SOCKS5 additionally supports UDP, authorization by login/password, and remote DNS requests.
Datacenter proxy servers can be detected because their IP ranges belong to businesses, not private users, which allows sites to identify requests as non-residential. High traffic from a single IP, atypical for regular users, also reveals a proxy. Unlike residential proxies, they are not associated with internet providers, which may indicate their use for parsing. Additionally, datacenter IPs more frequently end up on blacklists due to mass usage. However, such proxies remain popular due to speed, reliability, and low cost, ideally suited for web scraping, site testing, and anonymous browsing. It is important to note that all VPN services operate through datacenter proxies, and due to the huge user base, it has become more difficult to detect automated requests solely by IP ranges, making datacenter proxies even more in demand.
HTTP proxy is the most popular and simple option, working without additional software and complex settings, but it does not provide complete anonymity, as some headers may contain the user's real IP. In contrast, SOCKS proxies do not transmit most client browser headers, support both TCP and UDP protocols, making them more flexible in configuration and allowing bypassing proxy blocks, guaranteeing absolute anonymity.
SOCKS4/5 proxies provide complete anonymity without altering data between client and server, allowing the end server to identify the user's location as the proxy IP. This enables bypassing proxy protection and working with sites in multi-threaded mode. Additional advantages include caching, SSL encryption, and authentication. Today, SOCKS5 is the optimal solution for compatible sites, surpassing HTTPS proxies in functionality. In our personal account, you can purchase private SOCKS5 proxies with the ability to instantly switch between protocols, allowing the use of one proxy package for working with any protocols.
Package proxies offer a large pool of IP addresses at wholesale prices, ideally suited for multi-threaded operation and collecting large volumes of data. Unlike individual proxies ($2-7 per piece per month), package proxies are dozens of times cheaper due to bulk sales. All IP addresses in the package are available only to you with the possibility of indefinite renewal. Compare the cost through our calculator - the difference between per-unit and package prices will pleasantly surprise you, as package proxies offer exceptionally favorable purchase conditions.
Package proxies are mainly used for data parsing and similar tasks requiring multiple connections to resources. Buying even 10 individual addresses for multi-threaded work is not cost-effective - it will only provide 10 simultaneous connections. At ProxyElite.Biz you can purchase packages in bulk: 1000, 5000, or 25000 IP addresses at prices dozens of times lower than individual ones, without losing quality. This is the ideal solution for working in hundreds or thousands of threads, allowing you to collect large volumes of data as quickly as possible.
Our proxies are completely individual – upon purchase, the entire dedicated channel is used exclusively by you. Servers are connected to high-speed lines from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps, and their operability is monitored around the clock by a professional team. Proxies are available in various regions with a large pool of IP addresses in each package. Thanks to wholesale sales volumes, you can cheaply buy IPv4 proxies for large-scale tasks – simply compare prices through our calculator and see the significant benefit of package purchase compared to buying individual IP addresses.
To ensure stable and reliable operation of our service, we set limits on the number of simultaneous connections depending on the tariff plan.
1. For tariffs up to 1,000 IPs - up to 600 simultaneous connections are available.
2. For tariffs from 1,000 to 5,000 IPs - the number of connections is 3 times greater than the number of IPs.
3. For tariffs from 5,000 to 15,000 IPs - the number of connections is 2 times greater than the number of IPs.
4. For tariffs from 15,000 IPs - the connection limit equals the number of IPs.
If limits are exceeded, your service switches to "Slow Mode", where only one simultaneous connection per IP is available. The time the service will operate in "Slow Mode" depends on the number of violations within 24 hours:
1. Up to 2 violations - 5 minutes.
2. From 3 to 6 violations - 15 minutes.
3. From 7 to 10 violations - 30 minutes.
4. More than 10 violations - 60 minutes.
